FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was fatally stabbed late Monday night in the 4600 block of Rosehill Road.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 10:58 p.m. on August 18, 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim inside a home with what appeared to be a stab wound. Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, an altercation occurred inside the residence that led to the stabbing. Police have confirmed that the two individuals involved in the incident were related.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
