Fayetteville, NC – The Fayetteville Police Department is urgently seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a First Citizens Bank branch on February 27, 2025.
Officers responded to the bank, located on Ramsey Street, following reports of a robbery. Upon arrival, they learned that a male suspect had entered the bank wearing a distinctive full camouflage hunting outfit, which included a hood and glasses. The suspect initially approached a teller, presenting a note and claiming he wished to cash a check. However, the note also contained a demand for money and a warning against triggering any alarms.
When bank staff refused to comply with the suspect's demands, he brandished a firearm. After the staff did not comply, the suspect took back the note and fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” in height, and believed to be in his 30s. He was wearing a full camouflage jumpsuit, Timberland boots, and a black beanie during the robbery. After fleeing the bank, he was last seen heading north on Ramsey Street before entering a wooded area, where officers lost his trail.
