Narcotics Search Warrant Leads to Arrest

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on Friday, resulting in the arrest of a Fayetteville resident on narcotics charges. Julian Marshall was taken into custody following the operation.

On February 6, 2026, deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit conducted a search at a residence located in the 2000 block of Smith Road. According to officials, the operation led to the arrest of 39-year-old Julian Marshall.

Marshall has been charged with maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance. Following his arrest, Marshall was processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Records indicate Marshall is being held under a $50,000.00 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
