SANFORD, N.C. — Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) today announced a significant expansion of its Continuing Education course offerings for Fall 2025, designed to equip individuals with the skills needed for the region's most in-demand careers. The new short-term training programs span critical areas from skilled trades and inspection certifications to cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and foundational professional fields like real estate and health.

The diverse array of new courses launching this fall includes:
Building Inspection I: This course prepares individuals for the Building Level I inspector exam, covering residential and small commercial code enforcement for structures up to 20,000 sq. ft.
Mechanical Inspection I: Students will receive comprehensive training in mechanical and fuel gas code enforcement, becoming eligible for the Mechanical Level I inspector exam upon completion.
Plumbing Inspection I: Focusing on residential and small commercial plumbing inspections, this course directly prepares students for the Plumbing Level I certification exam.
Core Cybersecurity Concepts: Designed for beginners, this course provides a foundational overview of cybersecurity principles, common threats, risk management strategies, and introduces various career pathways, featuring insights from guest industry speakers.
Power Your Work with AI: This innovative course introduces students to generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, demonstrating their application for task automation, productivity enhancement, and promoting ethical AI use in both personal and professional environments.
Agricultural Mechanization: Geared towards the agricultural sector, this course covers the operation and management of essential farm machinery, including tractors, irrigation systems, and on-farm energy production, with a strong emphasis on hands-on skills.
NC Real Estate Prelicensing: This program fulfills the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's requirements for provisional broker application and thoroughly prepares students for the state real estate licensure examination.
Health and Wellness Coach: This course is meticulously designed to provide individuals with extensive knowledge, practical tools, and vital resources to pursue careers as nationally certified health and wellness coaches.
