Governor Josh Stein announced today that GMAX Industries, Inc., a medical product manufacturer, will establish its inaugural North American production facility in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County. This $11.4 million investment is projected to create 36 new jobs with an annual average salary of $66,667, surpassing Forsyth County's average. GMAX Industries, a certified Minority Business Enterprise, specializes in disposable medical supplies. The new 144,000 square foot facility will support domestic manufacturing and national distribution, strengthening the healthcare supply chain.

Fayetteville Teens Set for Second "Late Night Fun Night" Tonight.
The City of Fayetteville is hosting its second "Late Night Fun Night" for local youth aged 12 to 17 tonight, Friday, July 11. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the College Lakes Recreation Center at 4945 Rosehill Road. Following the success of its first event, this iteration promises an evening of activities including basketball, board and card games, video gaming, and a special indoor hockey tournament hosted by the Fayetteville Marksmen.
