Slocomb Road in North Cumberland County Set to Close Memorial Day Weekend for Popular ATV Event  

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has approved the closure of Slocomb Road for the highly anticipated Creek Fest, hosted by Deep Creek ATV Park, this Memorial Day weekend.

According to NCDOT documents obtained by Fay News 10, Slocomb Road will be closed outside the park's entrance at 2601 Slocomb Road in both directions, beginning Friday at 8 a.m. Motorists are advised to detour using Lane Road and McBride Street until the closure ends at 10 p.m. Saturday night.

This weekend's event is expected to bring over 5,000 individuals to Deep Creek ATV Park. The event will feature performances by rapper Lil Boosie and country artist Demun Jones. Tickets for the event are available on the park's Facebook page.
