
Cumberland County Sheriff's Office Seizes Drugs and Cash in Fayetteville Raid
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A search warrant executed by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs and cash from a Fayetteville residence. The raid led to the arrest of a local man on multiple felony drug charges.
Detectives with the Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit meticulously searched a home at 4147 Grandford Road, where they discovered approximately 31.30 grams of cocaine, 12.5 pounds of marijuana, and $12,255 in U.S. currency.
Following the search, Aaron Dale Cooper, a 43-year-old white male from Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with several serious offenses. The charges include Trafficking Schedule II by Possession, Trafficking Schedule II by Manufacturing, Trafficking Schedule VI by Possession and Trafficking Schedule VI by Manufacturing, and Maintaining a Dwelling for drug activity.
Cooper was processed into the Cumberland County Detention Center and is being held on a $1 million secure bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
