Cumberland County Tax Administration Switches to New Electronic Billing Service
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C – Cumberland County Tax Administration is transitioning its electronic bill delivery service from PayIt to eNoticesOnline, beginning with this year’s tax bills mailed in August.
PayIt will continue to be the County’s secure online payment vendor for property taxes and other services. This change only affects residents who receive their tax bills electronically.
eNoticesOnline offers several advantages for residents:
Faster access to notices: View bills and other tax office notices as soon as they are generated.
All notices in one place: Taxpayers can see every notice they’ve been mailed, not just their annual bill.
What Residents Need to Know
Taxpayers currently enrolled in PayIt eBilling must re-register with eNoticesOnline to continue receiving bills electronically.
This change does not affect the taxpayer’s ability to pay online through PayIt.
The mailed bill will include instructions and an “Authorization Code” to set up a new account at www.eNoticesOnline.com.
An additional insert will be included for current PayIt eBilling users, reminding them of the change.
How to Sign Up for eNotices Online
Find the Authorization Code printed on the tax bill (above or below the parcel/account number).
Visit www.eNoticesOnline.com and click “Register.”
Complete the form using the Authorization Code, confirm the email, and start receiving paperless bills.
