North Carolina State Superintendent Maurice “Mo” Green is in Robeson County tonight, Monday, October 27, to present the State Strategic Plan: Achieving Educational Excellence.

The special presentation is part of the State’s initiative to share its bold, five-year vision for the future of public education, to make NC public schools the best in the nation by 2030.

Superintendent Green is set to detail the components of the plan tonight at the Lumberton High School Auditorium, located at 3901 Fayetteville Road.

The event is free and open to the public, and it begins at 6:00 p.m. The Public Schools of Robeson County are encouraging all parents, students, educators, staff, and community members to attend the important discussion.
