A small plane crashed Friday morning in Harnett County , striking a building at NC Wake Boats, a boat dealership on Holly Springs Church Road near Broadway, according to emergency officials.

Emergency crews responded to the scene after the call came in just after 9 a.m. Friday morning.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol a Pilot and a Passenger were killed when the plane crashed Friday Morning. The plane which had taken off from the Raleigh Executive Jetport just seven minutes before it crashed. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration have been called in to investigate.
