Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Executes Search Warrant on Peace Street

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the 100 block of Peace Street in Fayetteville just before 9am. on January 28. According to information obtained by Sheriff’s Office, the operation resulted in the arrest of 38-year-old Jamie Jevon McPhaul.

McPhaul faces several charges, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule I and Schedule VI controlled substances. Additionally, he is charged with the manufacture of Schedule I and Schedule VI controlled substances and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Following his arrest, McPhaul was processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center. He is currently being held under a $10,000.00 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
